Rules for Window Tint

  • DO NOT roll your windows down for 3 full days
  • DO NOT clean the inside of your windows for 3 full days
  • When it is safe to clean your windows, NEVER use any product that contains ammonia (like Windex). Doing so will fade the tint and instantly void your warranty. Winners sells the appropriate window cleaner for $5.00.
  • Overall surface drying time for tint may take up to 30 days.
  • Please park your car in DIRECT sunlight to speed up the drying process.
  • For the next 3 days your tint will tend to look milky and streaky. This is normal and will evaporate with direct sunlight.
  • Your tint may have small water bubbles after you leave. This is normal and will evaporate with direct sunlight.
  • Larger water bubbles may “pop up” after you leave.  This happens with changing weather conditions and should be expected.  Simply call the shop to receive instructions over the phone.
  • Some vehicles have “DOT MATRIX” (little black dots at the top of the rear and side windows).   The tint does not stick evenly on these dots and leaves a white haze around the windows.  Winners does not warranty those dots, customer has the choice of cutting them short or covering them will vinyl for an additional $20.
  • Although Winners does everything possible to keep a clean and dust/dirt free tint environment, small dust and air borne particles may be seen in your tint.
  • UNDER NO circumstances does Winners Window Tint, LLC warranty dust particles. The Industry standard is to view your car from a distance of no less than 5 feet. If you do not view an imperfection in your film at 5 feet, then it is a tint job well done.

  • When tint is applied to glass, any imperfections in the glass, such as scratches, will seem magnified and more noticeable.

  • Please be advised that while we do everything possible to make your tint job look great, there is no such thing as a perfect tint job.

  • Please keep your receipt for any lifetime warranty work.
